Adoption procedure
All adopters will be required to complete an adoption agreement and will be subject to a home visit. UK Airlines will not fly animals directly from Skiathos. Other European airlines will fly animals directly from Skiathos, to The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, etc.

Cost
All cats are spayed / neutered (except for the cats younger than 5 months) tested for feline AIDS and feline leukemia, provided with a passport, vaccinated, micro-chipped and treated for fleas and worms. Airline approved travel boxes will be provided. In the HOPE to get more cats staying in our care adopted to LOVING HOMES the charity will subsidies the ADOPTION FEES, MEANING ADOPTION to The Netherlands will be €220. For other countries the cost will vary due flight or future transport.

Bobby was dumped as an older kitten at the charity grounds.

Character:
Bobby is very insecure, timide and can can be anxious. When volunteers are around he is very curious but does not like being picked up. We are looking for a home for Bobby where his new owner is prepared to give Bobby all the time and space to become more confident and understands that he may never be a lap or cuddle cat and not expected this of him. He not suitable for a family with children and can not share his home with dogs. He can go with another cats as long as they are not dominant. We are looking for a house for him with outside space.

Brie may seem nervous at first, but once you have gained her trust with you she is very affectionate and will come over to you. She always wonders over to us when we are putting the washing on the line and will sit by the basket meowing for cuddles.

History:
Found at a remote villa, these 2 cats appeared looking for food and cuddles. They never left the villa and it was the end of the holiday season, there was nowhere nearby to find food to survive. Always together they never left each other’s side.

Character:
This brother and sister duo are possibly the best duo. They are like Yin and Yang. Carlos is full of energy, loves to explore and play with anyone that will play with him. He is very social but equally loves to snooze or have a cuddle. Cosmina isn’t as energetic as Carlos, but is still playful. She is very sweet and calm natured but loves a cuddle just as much as Carlos does. Often you will find Cosmina curled up in the sun or a comfy bed, or playing with her brother. These two are desperate for any attention and would be a perfect duo for any households - whether single, couple or family. We think they would fit into any home very well and provide you with endless laughs and love. A home with a garden would be ideal.

History:
The charity got contacted that a kitten was crying at bottom of steps by Tasmania. As there was no mothercat nearby he was taken to the charity. He went to the vets as he had an ulcer on his tongue so on clove oil.

Character:

Cashew is a very energetic young cat, he loves to chase the other kittens. It can take cash awhile to get used to other cats as he likes his own space too. Cashew can also be affectionate with humans when it suits him, when the volunteers are having a break he will often come and sit next to them or on their laps but once he’s had enough he will then go and find somewhere else to sleep!He is a lovely boy and really deserves a home of his own.

History:
Charlie was found near a remote monastery that could only be reached by a 4 wheel drive car. The charity was getting calls on Charlie because she had wounds on her face. Volunteers with a 4WD caught her and brought her to the charity, for neutering and medication. As she was not fed at the monastery the decision was made she would stay at the charity.

Character:
Charlie is a stunning, little girl, that is a bit anxious around humans at first. But once she gets to know you and trusts you, she loves the attention.

Cody and his sibling were found near the mainroad. They were monitored if a mothercat returned for them sadly she didn't. As they were to small to fetch for themselves they were brought to the charity for their own safety.

Cornelius used to live a relaxed life at the Skiathos dog shelter, until he got attacked by a dog twice. He was taken to the vet wounded, with a big hole on his belly. Luckily, he recovered well from the injury. The dog shelter was no longer a good place for him, so he was brought to the charity.

Cornelius is an independant cat, that likes to explore the area. He is very kind and likes to get some cuddles on his own time. He only likes dry food. We are looking for a loving home without dogs, where he can go outside to explore.

Delilah is the sweetest mum for her kittens, but is neutered now. She is a beauty and a very relaxed and independent cat. She loves to chill, but also likes to walk around outside. Character:
Duchess is a stunning lady, that likes to sit and watch the volunteers from a height. She is still a bit anxious around humans, but given the time to adjust at her own pace she will probably like the attention. She is curious enough. She is fine with the other cats at the charity, but keeps a bit of distance from them. We are looking for a loving home that does not expect anything from her, but lets her decide what feels right for her at what time. Like a true duchess. She likes to climb up to feel safe, so she needs possibilities to explore and climb on things. Preferably with a safe outdoor space.

Fred is a shy but sweet boy. When he was a kitten he would follow in the footsteps of his brother, but now he is very independent and loves to explore by himself. With the right forever home and a family to love him and will give him all the time in the world he will be the most amazing pet anyone could wish for.

We have been feeding and monitoring a family, located behind a container by the ring road. The mother and 1 of the kittens are doing ok, and the mother will be neutered. Holly keep running onto the ring road.As well as the road danger they are not in the best of health, we took the decision to take them to give them the best chance. The charity got a phone call from a lady who had heard a kitten crying since the night before and finally found her in a pipe by the football stadium. Jess was not very well and would not eat so volunteer Louise took her home because she was sick and needed bottle feeding.

History: Tourists came in contact with the charity about a kitten they had seen on a remote area in Kastro whilest hikking. Unable to take it as they had no cat carrier or transport to get him out an apeal was made on social media if anybody was able to go to Kastro to look for the kitten. Several people went the next day to look for it. It turned it there was not 1 kitten but there were 3. The kitten seen by the tourist was very social and friendly and it did not take long to catch it but his sibblings Kenzi and Kobi took a bit longer as they were very scared. Once catched the kittens were brought to the charity. Character: Kenzi and Kobi are still scared and do not move from each other side and love each other very much. They need to a home together with people how will give them all the time they need to start to trust people and give them more convidence. Lilly was dumped with her brother and sister at a young age and taken to the charity. Her brother has found a good home. Lilly and Tilly are still looking for a house - they can also be adopted together.

Lily is a very sweet and loving girl. She can be quite independent at first but when you spend some time with her she easily warm up to you and love some cuddles and attention! As quiet girl she would appreciate a home without young children or loud, active dogs but she can share her home with other cats. History:
Rudy was found behind one of the bars in Skiathos together with is brother when they were just 7 days old. Rudy is hand raised by Nina who looked after him until he was old enough to go to the charity .

Character:
Rudy is very affectionate. He loves to climb on your shoulder and will nuzzle his head into your neck. He is very adventurous and is always exploring so would love a home with outdoor space. He can get along with other cats but gets a little bit jealous when the attention isn’t on him.

Sunny was found at a holiday villa all alone and not well. She was brought to the charity were she got the care she needed and is doing very well now

We where sent a message about Teresa as a local lady was worried for her safety she was always in the middle of the road with her 5 babies and sadly 1 was killed so for her and her kittens safety she was brought to the charity.

Character:
Teresa is a lovely cat, very affectionate and very calm! She does get very excited around food (human and cat) and is often trying to steal the volunteers lunch.

Tom Jones & Woody and their mum were brought to the charity as the place they were staying was not save as people wanted to move them from their location

Character:
Tom Jones & Woody are still nervous arround people and other cats. They love being together so we are looking for a home they can stay together. Tom Jones & Woody will need a home where they will be given loads of love, care and attention to gain more trust

History:
Tilly was dumped with her brother and sister at a young age and taken to the charity. Her brother has found a good home. Tilly and Lilly are still looking for a house - they can also be adopted together.

Character:
Tilly is a very sweet and loving girl. She can be quite independent at first but when you spend some time with her she easily warm up to you and love some cuddles and attention! As quiet girl she would appreciate a home without young children or loud, active dogs but she can share her home with other cats. She is a stunning girl who would appreciate some outdoor space to play in.

Zoe is a stunning beauty, but is a bit anxious around humans. She deserves a home where she is given all the time she needs to gain more trust and experience that humans are actually really nice.
