Alexos was dumped as a tiny kitten in the bin and found by one of the volunteers. As he needed bottle feeding he was brought to the charity.
Character:
Alexos loves attention and cuddling. He is very friendly and social and also likes to lie on your lap if he gets the chance. Alexos can be with other cats, dogs that are used to cats and fits in every family.

Areli was dumped at the monastery. She didn't get on with the cats there so we were asked to take her.
Character:
Areli is a sweet old girl who loves human company and is more than ready for a forever home to live out her twilight years being treated like the queen that she is. She is quite a character and walks around like she owns the place. She probably has nystagmus and needs litter training. She doesn't like other cats so she won't use the litter trays.

History:
Boris came into the care of the charity in a time records were not kept. Sadly recenty he one of his eyes had to removed because the vet said he was in pain with the eye. After the operation he lost he sight in his good eye as well. They think he might be able to see shadows with it
Character:
Boris is a shy cat, that needs to get to know you before coming out of his shell. Once he does, he is very kind and loves to cuddle. He so deserves a loving home where he can blossom. He can live with other cats, if they are not too dominant. But Boris would not mind being the only cat and having a relaxed life. You will fall in love with this gentle soul, we promise you

History
Tourists stop one of the volunteer when she was walking along Megali Ammos beach and they said they’ve been watching Charcoal for days and he had a very bad tummy and was very lethargic and didn't seem well at all. Having seen him the volunteer realized he needed to see the vets not having a cage she picked him up and carried him all the way to her apartment (about 1 km) he stayed in her arms the whole time. His poor tummy was bad very bad after seeing the vet Charcoal was taking to the charity for treatment. Sadly one of his eyes was very cloudy as well and need to be removed.
Character
Charcoal is energetic, playful and loves to chase the other cats around. He can be shy with people at first, but once he’s used to you, he likes to come up for attention.

Bought in by local with a very bad eye. We had to keep him in a cage for a couple of months to make him friendly so we would be able to handle him post surgery.

Derek is an inquisitive young man who is very curious and every day comes more out of his shell

Elijah was brought to the charity after he was found by one of our volunteers, due to the issue with his eyes he was kept at the charity for his own safety

Elijah can be a shy cat, he is getting braver and is coming out of his shell. He now allows us to stroke him and he quite enjoys it.

Hugo just appeared one day at the charity with his brother spike, we think they were dumped at night.

History:
Isaac and his 4 siblings were found by a local man by his house without a mother. All the siblings seemed to have bit of cat flu but have recovered well.
Character:
Isaac is a little bit scared and will need a lot of TLC and extra attention but he is so very sweet natured. He loves to play and sleep with his siblings. One of Isaac's is has poor vision because of the cat flu.

Lottie was brought to the charity during the high peak of kitten season in a time records were not kept.
Character:
Lottie is a boy who wanders around the volunteers, but is weary to be touched at first. If you take your time with him, he loves the cuddles though. He needs a home with loving people that give him the space he needs to gain more trust. He can live with other cats and older children.

History:
Rudy was found behind one of the bars in Skiathos together with is brother when they were just 7 days old. Rudy is hand raised by Nina who looked after him until he was old enough to go to the charity .
Character:
Rudy is very affectionate. He loves to climb on your shoulder and will nuzzle his head into your neck. He is very adventurous and is always exploring so would love a home with outdoor space. He can get along with other cats but gets a little bit jealous when the attention isn’t on him.

History:
Blind Samson was found in a state by one of the volunteers with a ear ripped of and bad eyes. One of the eyes couldn't be saves and sadly had the be removed and he doesn't have vision in the other. He was brought to the charity to recover and because it was not safe for him on the streets the decision was made he would stay at the charity.
Character:
Sammy is a lovely boy who is very inquisitive and loves exploring. Climbing is his favourite, we think he can see shadows. He is a cuddly boy who you can play with and cuddle but he does not like being picked up. Samson makes the sweetest sounds. He loves being outdoors so a home with an enclosed garden is essential.

History:
The charity was contacted by some tourists about a cat in town with a very bad looking cheeck. It turned out to be a bacterial infection. Yasmine was brought to the charity and got treated for it but as a consequence she has lost almost all the fur on one of her cheecks and muscles. Her left cheek has fallen in because of it.

Yasmine is a big tabby girl. Who enjoys the company of other cats. She loves to be stroked and is purring machine ans loves her cuddles
